2014-7-4 2. SUBSIDENCE MONITORING AT ABU-TARTUR AREA The phosphate deposit at Abu-Tartur area, located at 150m below the ground surface is exploited by longwall mining method. Three panels, 1200m long and 150m wide, have been developed and only one panel is being mined now by retreat mining method. The layout of the working panel is shown in [Fig. 1].
